I guess I should have seen this coming, it smells great and the label is purple, but my daughter is obsessed with lavender oil.
She wants it added to her bath, diffused at night, and rubbed onto her skin for any type of skin insult (real or imaginary). She used to beg for other options so I’m pretty happy to have to run for the “the oils” now. It is a pretty amazing oil, how can I blame her?!
Lavender Essential Oil (therapeutic grade):
- Eases muscle tension
- Helps skin recover quickly
- Is widely used for its calming and relaxing qualities
- Soothes occasional skin irritations
I like to use it in a spray bottle with water and apply it to our pillows and sheets before bed. We also diffuse it often in our bedroom to help us relax. I always have it on hand when I am on the go so I can apply it quickly to any minor skin issues. I love to breathe in a few drops out of my cupped hand during times of high stress for its calming effects. It is also one of our favorites to add to coconut oil and apply topically when you need that tense neck or shoulders massaged. There are just so many uses. It is one of the most versatile essential oils! Most people are familiar with lavender oil but may not know how truly awesome it is! My daughter Katy will gladly give you the scoop! 😉 ~Emily~
